The True
Announcing The True
For most women, life is a question of when, not if they will encounter sexual violence.
There are tens of millions of stories out there that need to be told.
Right now, rape and revenge porn are free crimes. Victims of abuse are called liars. We plan to change that.
We want to create a place where women and men can tell their stories and name their rapists (or those who porn them).
The True is a unique project backed by Dr. Ann Olivarius, a veteran feminist litigator, and her leading international law firm McAllister Olivarius.
Our work has delivered progressive social change, we have:
- Supported Mary Ann Franks and Congresswoman Jackie Speier on the
- Violence Against Women Reauthorization Act.
- Worked alongside Dr. Gail Dines to promote Stop Porn Culture, a leading global initiative aimed at ending industries of sexual exploitation.
